La Irish Radio Transmitters Society  festeggia il suo 80 ° anniversario nel 2012. Per festeggiare l'evento sara' attiva per tutto il 2012 la stazione EI80IRTS. QSL via EI4GXB, LoTW.

DL, GERMANIA - DM100MGY - SPECIAL CALL

L'affondamento del transatlantico Titanic compie il suo 100 ° anniversario il 15 Aprile 2012. Dopo aver colpito un iceberg la nave è affondata a 300 miglia nautiche sud-est di Terranova. Purtroppo, solo circa 700 dei 2200 i passeggeri e  membri dell'equipaggio sono stati salvati. E 'stata una delle peggiori catastrofi marittime. Il Club locale DARC a Schoenau (S65) commemora questo evento storico e l'inizio di comunicazioni di emergenza coordinate con il nominativo speciale DM100MGY dal 1 gennaio al 31 dicembre. QSL solo via bureau, non QSL diretta e non eQSL.

TM70TRS è il nominativo speciale rilasciato per celebrare il 70 ° anniversario dell'esercito francese Signal Corps. Sarà utilizzato dai francesi dell'esercito Amateur Radio Club in tutto il 2012. QSL via F6KHX

Hrane YT1AD e un team multinazionale di operatori (AA4NN, AD6E, AH6HY, EA1IR, I2VGW, K3LP, K6SRZ, N6PSE, PY5EG, RW4NW, UA4HOX e WD5COV finora) sarà attivo su tutte le bande e modalità come  3D2C da Conway Reef (OC-112) tra il 25 settembre e 6 ottobre. VK0 / H - Heard Island, AN-003 - Dxpedition 2013

Chris Dimitrijevic (VK3FY) e Steve Chamberlain (VK6IR) stanno pianificando una DXpedition a Heard Island (AN-003) per il mese di  febbraio 2013. La squadra comprende 13 Operatori e  dovrebbe essere attiva per due settimane. I costi sono stimati in circa US $ 500.000. Un sito con ulteriori informazioni andrà online a breve.
